Spanning a minimum of 28 years, Denise has a wealth of experience in the collection industry, having previously owned and managed two successful debt collection agencies, the last one of which was merged into the Hitachi Capital Group following delivery of outstanding performance.
Being one of the youngest members of the ICM to be accredited on merit alone, Denise has enjoyed Fellowship status since 1994 and has dedicated many years of service to the Credit Services Association (CSA) Counsel, holding positions such as Treasurer and serving on the Disciplinary & Compliance committees.
Jim started his career at the Co-Operative Bank in Manchester, moving on to specialising in consumer/personal credit with additional focus on risk, collection and recovery. Jim’s roles have varied immensely over the years, allowing him to travel the world covering due diligence, mergers & acquisitions & assisting under-performing businesses in Japan, Asia and Europe.
Back in the UK, Jim then joined Intrum Justitia where his role extended to European Board Member alongside taking the lead role in the acquisition of Dun & Bradstreet (RMS) in 2001.
Caroline started her career in the industry in 1993 as a part time collector and gained extensive experience at a number of collection agencies and solicitors practices. During her career Caroline has managed collections in commercial, consumer and legal departments and has successfully gained a pass with credit on the CSA City and Guilds Diploma Course. Caroline has also worked alongside Denise over the past 8 years.
Fiona has been a valued member of the Collection Support Team for the last 18 months. Starting life at IMFS as a Collection Support Administrator she has since quickly progressed to the role of Quality and Compliance Officer. Fiona is now training further to take over the role of Collection Support Manager. Her experience from the ‘ground up’ has enabled her to gain a solid understanding of the nature and requirements of the company. Fiona joined IMFS after graduating from Leeds University with honours in 2007. Her time studying honed her analytical and organisational skills, which are now used fully in dealing with clients and managing the administrational side of IMFS’s operation. Fiona has become an integral part of the team and we hope her development continues to benefit our clients and IMFS.
